Are you a full-time RVer looking for summer work? Well, you’ll be happy to know it’s still not too late! If this had been any other year, however, landing a “choice” summer job in the middle of summer could prove challenging. Luckily (to some degree), 2020 has thrown a wrench into the way almost everything is “normally” done.
The “Normal” Process
Most full-time RVer’s looking for summer work line-up their gigs well in advance. Sometimes even a year in advance since competition for these jobs can be fierce. 2020, however, has offered a sliver of a silver lining to RVers who waited too long to apply or had a change of plans.
The Silver Lining
Because of the Coronavirus, many would-be work-campers bailed on jobs they had lined up in order to ride out the virus in a safe environment. Additionally, many of the places these jobs are located, like national parks and forests, commercial RV parks, retails businesses, etc., either didn’t open on time, or at all, leaving work-campers to seek employment elsewhere.
Long story short, now that more places and businesses are opening, more employers are looking to hire and replace employees. So, if you’re a full-time RVer looking for summer work, it’s still not too late to find exactly what you want!
